Students that study this course will gain a range of necessary knowledge and skills  for independent living including;

• knowledge of the rights and responsibilities for someone going flatting (for example the Residential Tenancies Act) and developing skills for independent living.

• self-management skills.

• an awareness of community support services.

• First Aid skills may be offered.

• simple food for flatting
