Course Description

This course is designed to allow students to explore leadership with their peers using Adventure-Based-Learning.  Students will then use some of the concepts explored to develop a programme of leadership for an activity day with Year 10 Outdoor Education students at the Christchurch Ropes Course.   Students will gain skills in working together to solve problems, supporting others, responding to and providing feedback and initiating leadership.  They will also develop presentation and group organisation skills and gain valuable experience leading others on the activity days.

Recommended Prior Learning

Year 12 Outdoor Education is an advantage.
